Introduction
The following terms govern our professional collaboration. They are designed to ensure mutual respect, clear expectations, and the successful delivery of your project.
Engagement
All projects begin with a formal discovery phase. Work commences only after the project scope is defined and the initial deposit is confirmed. Any changes to the scope during development may result in adjustments to the timeline and final quote.
Intellectual Property
Upon final payment, full ownership and intellectual property rights of the custom code and assets are transferred to the client. I retain the right to showcase the project in my portfolio and marketing materials unless a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) specifies otherwise.
Client Responsibilities
To ensure project success, the client agrees to provide necessary assets (copy, branding, credentials) in a timely manner. Delays in feedback or asset delivery may result in a shift of the final delivery date.
Flexible Payment Structures
I offer multiple billing structures depending on project complexity including fixed-price milestones, 50/50 deposits, or monthly retainers for ongoing development. Specific payment schedules are agreed upon during the proposal stage. Work continues only when the agreed-upon payment schedule is maintained.
Liability
I am committed to providing high-quality, bug-free code. However, I am not liable for any third-party service failures, loss of profits, or damages resulting from the use of the final product after the handover and free support period have concluded.
